Remote Insurance Sales Agent

Dinwiddie Agency is seeking a Remote Insurance Agent to educate and support clients in selecting the right coverage from home. In this role, you will prospect and qualify leads, conduct virtual consultations, and match individuals and families with appropriate insurance products. You’ll explain policy options clearly, prepare quotes, and process new applications and changes with accuracy. Success is measured by your ability to build long-term client relationships, maintain detailed records, and consistently meet sales and service goals in a fully remote, self-directed environment. Prospect and qualify individuals and families seeking insurance products Conduct virtual consultations to assess clients’ coverage needs and budgets Explain policy options, features, and benefits in clear, compliant language Prepare and present customized insurance quotes and proposals Process applications, policy changes, and renewals accurately and on time Maintain detailed records of client interactions and follow-up activities Meet or exceed remote sales and customer service performance targets Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations Insurance product knowledge (life, health, or property & casualty) Remote/phone-based sales CRM and lead management software Online meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.) Quote and policy illustration tools Underwriting and eligibility basics Regulatory and compliance familiarity Digital document management and e-signature tools Data entry and record-keeping accuracy Basic analytics and sales reporting Active state insurance producer license (life, health, P&C as applicable) Continuing education credits to maintain insurance licensure Background check as required by carriers and regulators
