Production Helper

Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Production Helperto support daily manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. The Production Helper will assist with sanding, material handling, machine operation, assembly, and general production duties while following established safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Sand, smooth, deburr, and prepare manufactured parts and materials for the next stage of production. Operate basic production machinery and equipment according to work instructions and safety procedures. Load and unload materials from machines and production areas. Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and other production tools as needed. Assist production operators with equipment setup, changeovers, and general machine support. Inspect parts and materials for defects, damage, or quality issues. Follow work orders, production instructions, drawings, and verbal directions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Package, label, stage, and prepare completed products for shipment or the next stage of production. Follow all company safety, PPE, quality, and production procedures. Perform other general manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, construction, or other hands-on work is preferred. Experience with sanding, material handling, machine operation, or assembly is a plus. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Ability and willingness to learn and operate production machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 poundsas required. Must be willing to follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements.
