We a searching for reliable, mechanically inclined, and self-motivated individuals for a Delivery Assistant opening in Howell, MI.
About the Company:
We specialize in appliance and HVAC delivery to company or clients throughout Southeast Michigan.
Pay Rate:
$20 hour
1st shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime during the week if needed.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload delivery trucks by using pallet jacks or appliance dollies.
Unbox, move, carry, and place appliances and HVAC equipment.
Verify deliveries with order slips.
Assist with warehouse receiving, stocking, organizing, and staging inventory.
Requirements:
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with occasionally maneuver items up to 100 lbs. with assistance or proper equipment.
Bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
Work indoors and outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
Strong customer service skills.
