Core Responsibilities:
Clinical Oversight: Manage daily operations of the unit's treatment schedule, ensuring evidence-based care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Staff Management: Supervise, hire, evaluate, and mentor CASACs, Discharge Planner, Creative Arts Therapist. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain organizational alignment with state/federal laws, HIPAA guidelines, and accreditation bodies. Quality Assurance: Oversee client record documentation, utilization review collaboration, and risk management protocols. Patient Advocacy & Care: Resolve client or family grievances and handle high-level administrative or safety discharge decisions.
Minimum Qualifications: Qualified Health Professional
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field. Licensure: LCSW, LPC, and/or LMHC
Experience:
Minimum 5 years working in substance use disorder treatment, including 2 to 3 years in a clinical supervisory or administrative role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of co-occurring conditions, crisis intervention, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
