The Role:
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Handle a docket of complex civil disputes from the first filing through motion practice and discovery. You will join a close-knit group of attorneys and be trusted to work independently and respond promptly to clients.
What You'll Do:
Manage complex, multi-party disputes across California.
Prepare pleadings, motions and briefs.
Draft written discovery requests and responses and guide the discovery process.
Research legal issues and support motion practice.
Take and defend depositions as matters require.
Work alongside fellow attorneys on a busy caseload.
Produce polished written work on time and in line with what clients expect.
What We're Looking For:
At least 5 years of civil litigation practice at a law firm, able to contribute from day one.
Current admission to the State Bar of California. A law degree and a strong record of academic achievement.
Solid background in motions and written discovery.
Experience with complex matters involving several parties.
Clear, persuasive writing and sharp analytical skills. A service-minded approach and quick responsiveness to clients.
Comfort working in a high-volume, quick-moving team.
Readiness to share academic transcripts and a sample of your writing.
Bonus Points:
Background in construction law or construction defect disputes. Location And Work Model Sacramento, California, United States
