To support the biocompatibility review of materials used in products, the full-time Biocompatibility Scientist will conduct toxicological assessments, design testing strategies, and engage with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities: Conduct in-depth toxicological assessments, including hazard identification and exposure assessment for materials Design and manage biocompatibility testing strategies to address key endpoints and gaps Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to select biocompatible materials and influence material decisions
Required qualifications: Master's degree in toxicology or a related field; Ph.D. preferred 3+ years of experience in toxicology with a Ph.D. or 7+ years with a Master's Experience conducting material reviews and toxicological risk assessments Fundamental understanding of ISO 10993 standards and biocompatibility testing Working knowledge of analytical testing methodologies and biological testing strategies
