Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed. Assist residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices. Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff. Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance. Help residents with meals, including tray setup and feeding assistance. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe. Provide respectful, compassionate care in accordance with resident care plans. Follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols. Participate in in-service training and continuing education as required.
