This position is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about employment based immigration law and enjoys advising corporate clients on complex workforce mobility matters. The role offers the opportunity to work with domestic and international employers across a wide range of industries while managing a diverse business immigration caseload in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a broad range of employment based immigration matters from intake through final adjudication• Prepare, review, and file nonimmigrant visa petitions including H 1B, L 1, TN, E 2, O 1, and related classifications• Handle immigrant visa matters including PERM labor certifications, I 140 petitions, and adjustment of status applications• Advise corporate clients on immigration compliance, work authorization requirements, and immigration strategy• Draft legal support letters, responses to requests for evidence, and other immigration related documentation• Analyze complex immigration issues and provide practical legal guidance to employers and human resources professionals• Communicate directly with corporate clients regarding case strategy, timelines, risks, and filing requirements• Monitor case progress and ensure compliance with all filing deadlines and government requirements• Stay informed on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and agency policies• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and fellow attorneys to ensure exceptional client service Qualifications• Juris Doctor degree and active admission to at least one state bar• Prior experience practicing business immigration law in a law firm environment• Strong knowledge of employment based immigration processes and procedures• Experience handling a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters• Familiarity with PERM labor certifications, I 140 petitions, adjustment of status applications, and employer compliance issues• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills• Strong client relationship management and communication abilities• Ability to manage a high volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail• Proficiency with immigration case management systems and legal technology tools• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while collaborating effectively with team members Preferred Experience• Experience advising multinational corporations and high growth companies• Background handling complex immigration matters involving executives, managers, and highly skilled professionals• Experience supervising paralegals or mentoring junior team members• Ability to develop long term client relationships and provide strategic immigration counsel This opportunity is well suited for a business immigration attorney seeking a fully remote role with a sophisticated practice, a diverse client base, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on companies navigating complex employment based immigration matters. Pay Range:
