Position Overview: Snelling is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate for a manufacturing facility in Louisville. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important role in keeping materials moving, maintaining accurate inventory, and making sure products are packaged and shipped safely and on time. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and works well with others. Candidates with forklift experience and a background in shipping, receiving, or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: Pick, stage, package, and verify finished products for shipment. Load and unload dry van trucks and shipping containers. Move materials and maintain accurate inventory records using computer-based inventory systems. Deliver raw materials, supplies, and packaging materials to designated production areas. Package and transfer finished products into drums, totes, pails, jugs, tank trucks, and railcars. Assist with receiving raw materials and supplies, including completing the necessary inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions. Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete assigned housekeeping and sanitation duties. Work with warehouse teammates, production staff, and management to keep daily operations running efficiently. Learn and support multiple warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, and packaging.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Forklift operating experience and the ability to operate a forklift safely. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management systems. Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production needs.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to climb ladders and access railcars, tank trucks, and other equipment as required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and occasionally in varying weather conditions. Flexibility to work shifts that may range from 8 to 12 hours, as needed.
