Production Press Assistant Manager (Bilingual Korean Required) Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for a Production Press Assistant Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Coordination
  • Assist with production scheduling and shift planning to meet customer
requirements.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when necessary to minimize
downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to ensure seamless press
line operation. Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly press production reports (output, scrap,
downtime, OEE).
  • Maintain accurate records of press operations, production logs, and employee
attendance.
  • Track KPI performance and report to Production Manager and senior leadership.
Process & Data Management
  • Support implementation of production tracking systems (ERP/MES).
  • Collect and analyze production data for efficiency and cost improvement
opportunities.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with IATF/ISO standards and internal
policies. Team Support & Administration
  • Provide administrative support for the press department (work orders,
purchase requests, training records, etc.).
  • Assist in onboarding/training coordination for press operators and office
staff.
  • Support manpower planning, shift coverage, and overtime scheduling.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve press production efficiency, reduce
downtime, and minimize waste.
  • Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Assist with corrective actions related to production quality or safety
issues. Other Duties
  • Assist Production Press Manager with special projects, presentations, and
audits.
  • Act as point of contact for interdepartmental communication when the manager
is unavailable.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing
Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in automotive manufacturing or production management;
stamping/press experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Understanding of press/stamping processes and production workflows.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and KPI management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
  • Language: English required; Korean language skills a plus.
