To support daily production activities at an OSAT, the full-time Senior Equipment Engineer will manage consigned equipment, analyze process metrics for continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers in plasma process development.
Key responsibilities: Support daily production activities of consigned equipment in collaboration with maintenance and facilities teams Monitor and analyze process metrics using advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to drive improvements in yield and equipment utilization Create and maintain equipment documentation, including specifications and training materials, while mentoring junior engineersRequired qualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical field, with 12 years of experience (or 5 years with a PhD) in plasma etch or deposition equipment Direct experience managing SPTS or plasma therm tools for daily production, including troubleshooting and recipe creation Strong knowledge of plasma etching, dicing, or related dry etch technologies Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience mentoring and guiding teams Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
