Location: Wisconsin Setting: Correctional Healthcare Start Date: July 6, 2026 End Date: January 9, 2027 Assignment Length: 27 Weeks Coverage Reason: Vacancy Schedule Monday through Friday Day Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM 30-minute unpaid lunch break Up to 40 hours per week Practice Environment Adult correctional behavioral health setting Collaborative multidisciplinary care team Structured clinical environment Long-term assignment with schedule stability Responsibilities Conduct mental health evaluations and assessments Develop and implement treatment plans Provide individual counseling services Facilitate group therapy sessions Perform crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments Monitor patient progress and mental health status Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews Coordinate care with healthcare providers and correctional staff Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts Required Skills Mental health assessment and diagnosis Crisis intervention and risk assessment Treatment planning and case management Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively within a secure correctional environment Knowledge of behavioral health ethics, regulations, and professional standards Qualifications Psychologist Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology Current unrestricted Psychologist license Correctional, forensic, psychiatric, or behavioral health experience preferred Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Master's Degree in Social Work Current unrestricted LCSW license Behavioral health, correctional, or mental health experience preferred About Floyd Lee Locums Floyd Lee Locums provides concierge-level support throughout every assignment, including malpractice coverage, credentialing assistance, travel coordination, and dedicated consultant support from presentation through assignment completion.
