Assembly Technician

Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation to ensure accurate builds Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment to complete assemblies to specification Perform visual inspections and basic functional checks prior to product handoff Identify assembly defects, discrepancies, and design concerns and communicate findings to engineering teams Partner with Quality Control and Testing teams to improve product flow and first-pass yield Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to manufacturing and safety standards
