Postpartum Doula

Description: First-time parents in Arlington expecting a baby in late April are seeking a daytime postpartum doula beginning mid-April. The family would love guidance from an experienced professional as they adjust to life with a newborn. They would appreciate support with soothing techniques, newborn care, and feeding. Dad will be home for the first month, and the family expects to need 1–2 shifts per week (4–6 hours) during that time. After about 4 weeks, the schedule will be at least 2 shifts per week. This role includes caring for the baby so mom can rest or shower, while also offering reassurance and guidance to first-time parents.
