Assistant Professor Trauma, Acute Care, and Burn Surgeon

MUSC is seeking an Assistant Professor to provide trauma, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, and burn services. The role includes operative and nonoperative care, ICU coverage, burn treatment, teaching, mentorship, and contributions to academic, quality improvement, and performance improvement programs. Provide operative and nonoperative care for trauma and emergency general surgery patients, including in-house trauma call. Cover the ICU for critically ill surgical, trauma, and burn patients. Deliver burn care from acute resuscitation through surgery, wound management, and outpatient follow-up. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to academic, quality improvement, and performance improvement initiatives.
