About the Role: We are seeking a Tier 1 Prelude Support Engineer to provide first-line support for Epicor Prelude ERP and related business applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and a desire to grow within enterprise application support. This is a fully remote role working East Coast Hours. All candidates must have Epicor Prelude experience to be considered for this tole. Rate Range: $23/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Please note we are not accepting resumes or calls from 3rd party agencies for this role.
Responsibilities: Provide first-level support for Epicor Prelude ERP users via MSFT Teams, email, and ticketing systems. Troubleshoot application, data, access, reporting, printing, and data-entry issues. Monitor support queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests. Monitor and support Prelude supporting applications for printing, automation, and invoicing. Assist users with system navigation, functionality, and business process questions. Support purchasing, inventory, order processing, receiving, and distribution workflows. Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support, developers, or application specialists. Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access requests. Assist with application testing, upgrades, patches, and system enhancements. Maintain knowledge base articles and user support documentation. Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.2-4 years of Epicor Prelude knowledge. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
