This position is in Bison, ND. Schedule will be 10 days onsite followed by 4 days off. Per diem and travel to and from home is provided. 10 days onsite followed by 4 days off$900/week per diem Two trips home per month reimbursed (up to $1,100 per trip) Overtime after 40 hour We're seeking an experienced Subcontracts Manager/Project Manager with a strong background in industrial construction, EPC, and large capital projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands how construction work is planned, scoped, procured, contracted, and executed in the field. You will lead the full subcontract lifecycle, partnering with project teams to drive successful project execution, mitigate risk, manage commercial performance, and ensure subcontractors deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.
What You'll Do: Manage subcontractors throughout project execution, serving as the primary commercial point of contact. Lead subcontract administration, including change orders, cost tracking, negotiations, and contract compliance. Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings, prepare meeting minutes and correspondence, and drive issue resolution. Monitor subcontractor performance related to schedule, productivity, costs, quality, and contractual obligations. Partner with project leadership to identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Support claims, disputes, invoicing, and subcontract closeout activities. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors while holding them accountable for project outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, commercial management, subcontract management, contracts, procurement, or related functions.
  • Strong industrial construction background required.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, negotiating costs, and making commercial decisions on construction projects.
  • Ability to operate independently, solve problems, and take ownership of project issues.
  • Comfortable working directly with field teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Compensation: $50/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
