OBGYN - Locums

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist in Oakland, California. We are seeking a California-licensed OB Hospitalist for a night shift locum tenens assignment in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate has at least two years of OB Hospitalist experience, is comfortable managing active labor, and has experience with operative deliveries including forceps. Spanish-speaking skills and prior experience working with midwives are strongly preferred.

Work Details: Patient Volume: Typically manage 5-8 patients in active labor per nightED Consults: Generally 1-2 per night

Procedures: Standard OB hospitalist care, including operative deliveries; experience with forceps highly preferred Skills Preferred: Experience working with midwives; Spanish language skills

Level of acuity consistent with a busy urban hospital

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Payment: Weekly direct deposit
