Providing temporary coverage for a broad brand IP portfolio, the full-time New York Licensed Trademark Attorney will focus on trademark and copyright matters, including clearance, prosecution, licensing, and advising on generative AI, while working in a hybrid environment for a duration of 5 to 6 months.
Key responsibilities:
Manage trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution, and enforcement for a diverse brand IP portfolio
Provide strategic counseling on generative AI, content rights, and digital marketing agreements
Oversee contract review and management of infringement claims, ensuring compliance with relevant laws
Required qualifications:
Admitted to practice law in a US jurisdiction and in good standing
Substantial experience in trademark and copyright law, including portfolio strategy and licensing
Experience advising on generative AI and emerging technologies
Familiarity with marketing and agency agreements, strategic transactions, and M&A
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with preference for candidates located in New York City
