Tool MakerDirect hire opportunity for a Tool Maker. As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and repairing precision tools and dies used in the manufacturing process for molded plastics. Your extensive experience gained through a U.S. Department of Labor-approved four-year apprenticeship in the tool and die field will be instrumental in ensuring equipment functions at its best. Overview of Job Role Fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tools, molds, dies, and fixtures. Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for problem molds Set up and operates tool room equipment using very close tolerances. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate tooling. Inspect and measure tooling components to ensure they meet strict quality standards. Diagnose and resolve issues with existing tooling to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency. Work closely with engineers and production teams to provide technical support and recommendations for tooling improvements.
