What You'll Do:
Develop advanced power and thermal management technologies for military and commercial applications Design, build, and validate prototype systems to demonstrate new concepts Conduct experimental research in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and micro-fluidics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and identify solution pathways Analyze data, interpret results, and refine designs using sound engineering judgment Contribute to the advancement of innovative R&D initiatives within the Power and Thermal-Fluids group
What You Need:
M.S. or Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field (0–5 years of experience; higher experience considered)Strong technical background in heat transfer and fluid dynamics Hands-on laboratory and experimental research experience Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and technical problem-solving Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, Workbench) is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and developing cutting-edge technologiesUS citizenship due to access restrictions.
