You'll leverage technology and telehealth services to interact with clients, offering the same level of care and compassion from the comfort of your home.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive and well-structured clinical assessments to determine the individual needs of clients, utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices.Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that consider the unique circumstances of each client, employing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).Provide therapeutic interventions in one-on-one sessions or group settings, focusing on empowering clients to develop practical coping strategies and resilience.Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of client information.Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the quality of services provided to clients.Participate in ongoing professional development through case consultations and peer review meetings, ensuring a continuous improvement in therapeutic approaches.Offer education and resources to clients and families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community support.Stay informed about the latest advancements in the mental health field, which allows you to integrate contemporary practices into your counseling methods.Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Family First Choice Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your empathetic approach and personalized treatment strategies will play a crucial role in facilitating positive transformations in their lives. By meeting clients where they are and understanding their unique backgrounds and experiences, you will contribute to building resilience and promoting mental wellness in our community.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred for this position.An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.A strong foundation in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and the ability to tailor treatment approaches based on client needs.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential for establishing trust and rapport with clients.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to effectively navigate complex client situations and develop suitable interventions.Adept at working within a collaborative team environment, valuing input from multidisciplinary perspectives while fostering a culture of support and growth.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience working in a community health or outpatient clinic setting is highly regarded, especially with a focus on diverse client populations.Proficiency in telehealth platforms and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) for efficient clinical documentation and client management.Knowledge or training in specific therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or mindfulness-based practices, will be an asset.Compensation and BenefitsThis rewarding position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
