Learn more about NC3 and SAOC here.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Systems Liaison Engineer to join our Liaison Engineering organization. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for aircraft mechanical systems, such as Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Water and Waste Systems, aircraft control systems, and other mechanical and structural subsystems. You will focus on system interactions, real time troubleshooting, and test support across the product lifecycle. You will work directly with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to resolve issues, ensure system integrity, and support successful system, ground, and flight test execution.Responsibilities:Provide technical liaison support for aircraft mechanical systems throughout production, integration, and test activitiesLead root cause analysis and resolve system?level issues, non?conformances, and test anomaliesInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, interface requirements, Aircraft Maintenance manuals (AMM), and test data to diagnose and correct system behaviorSupport system, ground, and flight test activities, including test readiness, troubleshooting, and data analysisDevelop and approve engineering dispositions, repairs, rework instructions, and temporary deviationsCoordinate system?level technical actions across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and test organizationsDocument findings, corrective actions, and verification results in accordance with engineering standardsMentor junior engineers in liaison engineering practices, system troubleshooting, and effective cross?functional communicationIdentify and support continuous improvement initiatives within liaison processes and system integration activitiesProvide support to additional mechanical and structural disciplines as neededQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline10+ years of experience in mechanical or systems engineering, including hands?on liaison or test support experienceStrong understanding of aircraft mechanical systems and how they behave and interact under operational and test conditionsDemonstrated experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementationAbility to interpret engineering drawings, reports, ICDs, system?level requirements, and Aircraft Maintenance manuals (AMM)Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and test teamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsEssential Functions:Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.Occasional travel may be required.Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.Applying systematic and logical problem-solving techniques to develop mechanical designsClearly convey technical information, design specifications, and project updates to team members, stakeholders, and managementAbility to understand technical documents, designs and test reports.
