This position is located in the Pharmacy department of the Veterans Home of California, Yountville and is responsible for performing professional pharmaceutical duties including supervising the work of Pharmacy Technicians and overseeing activities of ancillary workers in Pharmacy. Providers must be linked, through their National Provider Identifier (NPI) number, to their facility for Medicare, MediCal/DentiCal, and all other applicable insurance vendors. This is a 12-month Limited Term position. The Limited Term may be extended for up to 24 months and/or the position may become permanent. Effective July 1, 2025, California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). PLP 2025 directs that state employees shall receive a three percent (3%) reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. The salary range(s) included in this job advertisement do not reflect the 3% reduction in pay.
