Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in cable and wire harness assembly Experience crimping small terminals and contacts Proficiency with manual and/or pneumatic crimping tools Hands-on soldering experience Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and use of ESD protective equipment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics Experience using precision measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, and wire measuring devices Ability to measure and cut wires to exact specified lengths Experience performing continuity checks and basic electrical testing Good hand-to-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to read and write English Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Ability to perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards Aerospace manufacturing experience Experience working under ISO 9001 quality management systems Experience using microscopes for small-component assembly
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cable Harness Assembler with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cable and wire harness assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience working with small terminals and contacts, crimping tools, soldering, precision measurement, and interpreting technical drawings. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, precision, and workmanship while performing repetitive production tasks. The role requires maintaining high-quality standards, following ESD and safety procedures, and working efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble cable and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and work instructions Crimp small terminals and contacts using manual and automated crimping tools Perform soldering operations in accordance with applicable industry standards Measure and cut wires to exact specified lengths using precision measuring tools Work under a microscope when required for fine-detail assembly Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing Assemble small motors, connectors, and related components Follow ESD control procedures when handling sensitive components Work in ESD-controlled environments while using appropriate protective equipment Inspect finished assemblies for quality, workmanship, and compliance Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality management procedures Complete repetitive production tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy Collaborate effectively with team members and production staff Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and production standardsOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.
