Role Description: The Payroll Administrator role is a part-time remote position responsible for managing and processing payroll for employees of AMY'S BRIDAL BOUTIQUE LLC. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing payroll data, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits, and maintaining up-to-date payroll records. The role also involves handling garnishments, coordinating payroll taxes and required filings, and answering employee payroll-related questions in a timely and professional manner. The Payroll Administrator will collaborate with management and accounting personnel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, while maintaining confidentiality and data security.
Qualifications: Strong skills in Payroll Administration, including end-to-end processing and recordkeeping. Knowledge of Garnishments and related payroll deductions, ensuring accurate and lawful handling. Experience with Payroll Taxes, including calculations, reporting, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Understanding of Employee Benefits as they relate to payroll, including accruals and deductions. Foundational Accounting skills to reconcile payroll data and support financial reporting. Proficiency with payroll software and basic office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, accounting systems).Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Prior experience in payroll or accounting roles is preferred; relevant coursework or certification is beneficial.
