Position Summary: The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process and established clinical standards. The RN independently manages patient care, collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, and ensures safe, high-quality outcomes for patients on the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update plans of care
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other healthcare team members
  • Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age
  • Maintain professional accountability and support ongoing professional development

Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBLS certification
  • Minimum 6 months of RN acute care experience
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Status: Part-Time | Non-Exempt
Shift: Shift 1 (Days)
Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PMWeekend Requirement: Every other weekend
