Lead Preschool Teacher – Early Childhood Education

KinderCare is seeking Lead Teachers for our Grayslake center to guide dynamic preschool classrooms. In this role, you’ll design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, nurture children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. You will mentor assistant teachers, partner closely with families, and uphold licensing and safety standards. Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum for early learners. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Lead, coach, and mentor assistant teachers and support staff. Communicate regularly with families about children’s progress and development. Assess and document children’s growth and adapt instruction as needed. Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards. Collaborate with center leadership on scheduling, enrollment, and classroom needs. Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
