Qualifications:

  • Adaptability in working with students with a range of disabilities and needs
  • Passion for inclusive education and student advocacy
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
  • Provide targeted instruction based on students unique strengths and learning styles
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate records and track student progress, modifying teaching methods as needed
  • Create a positive, encouraging learning environment for all students
  • Participate in IEP meetings and staff development opportunities as requested
