CDL Class A Route Delivery Driver

US Foods is seeking a safety-focused Class A Delivery Driver to join our wholesale foodservice distribution team. In this role, you’ll safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver fresh, frozen, and dry products, equipment, and supplies to restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality customers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading product, verifying orders, maintaining delivery logs, and providing outstanding customer service. You’ll work in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture with strong safety standards, opportunities for training, and advancement across our national distribution network. Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver foodservice products to customer locations Load, unload, and verify orders using delivery documentation and handheld technology Follow DOT, safety, and food handling regulations at all times Provide professional, customer-focused service at restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality accounts Inspect vehicles, perform basic maintenance checks, and report issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and return documentation Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve delivery issues Adhere to schedules while adjusting routes as needed for traffic and weather Class A CDL operation Route delivery DOT/safety compliance Defensive driving Load securement Order verification & documentation Use of pallet jacks and lift gates Time management & scheduling Customer service Basic vehicle inspection & troubleshooting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Clean driving record meeting DOT and company standards DOT medical certification Experience with pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks preferred
