Work Environment: Located in Fort Lauderdale, a vibrant city known for its beautiful beaches and rich cultural scene, our rehabilitation facility offers a dynamic and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, engaging directly with patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The work schedule is structured around a 40-hour week, including variable weekends, to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and set achievable rehabilitation goals. Implement therapeutic interventions and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Engage in educational outreach and community programs to promote health and wellness. Mentor and supervise junior staff, including physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, to foster a learning environment. Attend continuous education workshops and in-services to maintain and enhance your expertise in the field. Maintain the integrity of patient files and treatment documentation while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Physical Therapist at Renown, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain, and athletes seeking rehabilitation after injuries. Your ability to engage with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds will be essential in establishing trust and fostering therapeutic relationships, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interactions with patients and team members. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technology for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience: Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation. Experience supervising support staff and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care are also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits: This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
