Shift:
2-2-3 rotation, 5a-5pm The Maintenance Engineer reports to the Senior Controls Engineer and is responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to improve machine availability, reliability, and efficiency. The position systematically addresses equipment issues, performs corrective and preventive maintenance, and supports reliability improvement activities. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment (hands on), including corrective and preventive maintenance Addressing and analyzing downtime occurrences and equipment failures Planning and implementation of preventive and/or predictive maintenance activities Improving equipment reliability and repair quality Create and maintain documentation related to repair quality and work instructions Evaluating and completing P.Ms on machinery Coordinate and participate in maintenance activities in assigned areas, providing technical support and hands-on assistance as required. Support the development of an effective spare parts inventory system Champion for documentation creation and control to improve repair quality and reduce time for repair on planned and unplanned activities

Qualifications:
Education/Credentials/Certifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Technology related field, or 6+ years of experience in a technical field in a manufacturing environment Length of Experience Previous experience (3+) in manufacturing in a maintenance or engineering role preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skillsAbility to effectively use mechanical measurement, alignment, hydraulic/pneumatic diagnostic, and condition-monitoring tools to troubleshoot, inspect, and evaluate industrial machinery. Automated manufacturing equipmentCNC experience is desired Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems, spindles, bearings, ball screws, guideways, couplings, pumps, and related machine components Ability to use mechanical measurement and diagnostic tools Excellent oral and written language abilityAbility to learn and apply maintenance best practices Excellent reasoning and problem-solving abilityAbility to pay extreme attention to detail Excellent organizational skillsAbility to collect and interpret data AnalyticalExcellent computer skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proficient in English Language Ability to work independently as well as on a team Walking in a manufacturing setting with multiple stairs and inclines The [above] is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
