Location: Cromwell, CT 06416 (100% Onsite)

Pay rate: $17.00 - $18.00/hr Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM EST (40.0 hours/week) Temp-to-Hire

Overview: The 1st Shift Assembler performs hand and machine assembly of finished products, specifically hand tools utilized in the utility and cable industries. Working out of the Cromwell, CT facility, this position interprets assembly drawings, operates manual and power tools, and maintains steady production volume. The role requires physical stamina, numerical proficiency, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and product quality. Job Specifications Assemble hand tools and sub-assemblies for cable and utility applications following engineering drawings and supervisor instructions Safe operation of manual hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery Inspect parts and finished products to ensure alignment with quality standards Perform basic mathematical calculations and maintain accurate production notes/counts Maintain clean, organized work stations complying with workplace safety guidelines Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or tool operation preferred Ability to read and interpret technical assembly drawings and diagrams required Strong manual dexterity and spatial awareness required Good memory retention, English reading/writing, and numerical literacy required Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and work standing/seated for extended periods Submittal & Compliance Requirements Background & Drug Screen Package: First Advantage Non-Exempt/Hourly Package with Supplier-run Drug Screen (or Non-Exempt/Hourly with Drug Package).Workplace Expectations: Excellent attendance record, strong team communication, and ability to follow supervisor directions closely.
