Senior Director of Security Vendor & Technology Strategy

We are seeking a Senior Director to lead the rationalization of our security vendor and technology portfolio and bring strategic discipline to how we invest in, build, buy, and manage security capabilities This leader will turn a sprawling landscape of security vendors into a coherent, defensible portfolio and establish the frameworks and operating processes that govern go-forward decisions and vendor engagement across the organization. This is an individual contributor role Rationalize the current portfolio of security vendors, identifying overlap, consolidation opportunities, and gaps to reduce complexity, cost, and risk Develop a security economics practice that drives cost clarity on tools, including unit costs for vulnerability identification and remediation Build repeatable decision frameworks and lightweight tooling that guide investment, divestment, build, and buy decisions across the security stack, and design a disciplined vendor engagement process for our multifaceted vendor relationships Partner with security, procurement, finance, and business leaders to align technology strategy with organizational priorities and budget, and establish governance, metrics, and reporting to track portfolio health over time
