Direct Support Professional - Hiring Full-Time All Shifts!

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Provide supervision, program implementation and documentation surrounding the daily living needs and routines for assigned children Assist children with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, feeding, toileting and personal hygiene needs Engage children in activities that support the goals of their Individual Support Plan and ensure they achieve maximum levels of independence Maintain a valid IL driver's license and provide DCFS approved transportation services for medical appointments and field trips Support residential operations through mandatory overtime shifts as neededPOSITION REQUIREMENTSMust be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent education. A Valid IL Driver's License & ability to qualify as a DCFS driver Successful background clearance, physical, agility test, and drug/alcohol screening. Lift, push, pull and/or carry 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl and run. Ability to work weekends and mandatory overtimeWHAT WE PREFERExperience working with people with developmental disabilities.
