Business Analyst (Oil & Gas system)

Requirements: Gathering & Documentation-Collaborate with business units to capture functional and technical requirements for application support and enhancements. Application Support & Incident Management-Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications (e.g., Pipeline Scheduler, SCADA, OSI PI, ETRM (Rightangle) systems). Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution. Process Optimization & Automation-Identify inefficiencies in IT and OT workflows; propose automation using tools like Power Automate, UiPath, and Azure DevOps. Stakeholder Communication-Act as a bridge between operations teams, developers, and vendors to ensure alignment on application changes and upgrades. Testing & Deployment-Prepare test cases, coordinate UAT, and support deployment activities for application releases. Compliance & Security-Ensure adherence to Oil & Gas industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations and related IT/OT applications (SCADA, Pipeline Scheduler, Fuels Manager, GIS). Proficiency in ETRM platforms, and integration tools (Boomi, Power BI). Experience with incident management tools and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Oil & Gas. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Certifications: CBAP, ITIL, or Agile credentials.
