Ohio Department of Public Safety – Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Field Operations Report in Location: 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223 Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. *This position is currently remote (work from home) but can be subject to change to regular, in-office work* Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety Multiple pay increases over the first years of service! What You'll Do as a Program Administrator 2Within the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), Field Operations Section, provides program direction by relieving superior of a variety of difficult administrative duties pertaining to the BMV Publications program: Oversees the BMV Publications Program by coordinating maintenance of content for BMV operational & procedural publications used statewide by BMV staff, Deputy Registrar agencies, & Title Offices to process driver licenses, identification cards, vehicles registration issuance &/or titles; Researches & analyzes programs, procedures, & policies to ensure effectiveness; Develops project proposals & program plans; Provides technical advice to BMV leadership to aid in decision making; Develops streamlined methodology for updating manuals & ensuring compliance with timelines &/or deadlines set for manual updates & revision reviews. Qualifications:
Option 1 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration. Option 2 -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position. Option 3 -Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development. Option 4 -Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
