Job Description: We are seeking a Full Time - Pharmacy Technician to be a member of our team. You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Seeking a motivated and experienced retail pharmacy technician for an independent pharmacy located in Orange County next to Fashion Island who is able to multi-task and adapt well in the pharmacy environment. Must also be willing to learn compounding of medications. Monthly bonus incentives available for qualified technicians.

Responsibilities:

Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
Process prescriptions using computer software
Label and record dosage information
Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
CompoundingMerchandising products
Check In & Check-Out of prescriptions

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years work experience in a pharmacy
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
Ability to multitask, and know how to prioritize in a constantly changing environment
Communicates clearly and effectively
Excellent customer service skills & must work well with others
Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the California State Board of Pharmacy
Compounding experience a PLUS but will train
Full-Time opening. Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays.
No Holidays. Health Benefits and additional Bonus Incentives.
