RN - Radiology

Job Responsibilities: Duties may include but are not limited to:-Serving as a liaison between the patient and the medical team.-Preparing patients for a procedure.-Starting intravenous fluids to inject special dyes or contrast mediums into patients.-Administering barium enemas or solutions before procedures.-Monitoring a patient's vital signs or their status during procedures to identify changes.-Identifying unexpected reactions in patients during procedures.-Administering analgesia and sedating patients upon instruction.-Updating the medical staff on a patient's status.-Reassessing patients after procedures.null Skills:

Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg Radiology experience in a large acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year.-Physical assessment.-Medication administration.-Wound care & Infection control-IV therapy.-Post-operative care.-Patient education.-Telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Skills & Experience: -EPIC EMR experience.null Education:

Required Education: -Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute. Preferred Education:-N/ARequired Certification & Licensure:-New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification.-AHA BLS.

Preferred Certification & Licensure: -N/AMed-surg, ACLS, PALS, and BCLS
