Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
- Complete food preparation and meal service
- Assist with overseeing and directing Dietary Aides
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow all state and federal food safety and sanitation regulations
- Follow facility policies and procedures
- Properly handle, store, and prepare food
- Help ensure meals are prepared and served on time
Cook Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred
- Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary instructions
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to providing quality service to our residents
