Open Text/VIM Functional AnalystAssignment Type: 6 month contract-to-hireLocation: Charlotte, NC preferred, but open to remote candidates ResponsibilitiesThis position will be assigned functional analyst responsibilities involving assisting the planning, design, support, and rollout of SAP S/4 HANA project initiatives primarily in the SAP VIM process areas in an SAP Fiori environment, including: Experience with the ongoing maintenance and support of scanning and indexing with OpenText ICC/BCC (Invoice/Business Capture Center) using OCRConfiguration and enhancement of OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) including customizationComplex Invoice workflow approval designProcess Type determination sequence for different document typesPresent and configure VIM workflow scenariosCustom coding and modification of OpenText VIMStandard VIM ReportsGood understanding of SAP AP process and EDI is must for this roleBasic understanding OpenText Archiving, ICC and VIM system installationThe ability to train invoice in BCC and be familiar with the training methods to increase matching recognition (ART, SnapMatch, and training of a constant value) Analyze fit/gap for business processes, translating requirements into specs, writing business process documents, and maintaining the BPMLAssist with providing impact/solution option assessments to offer workable, efficient technical/business solutionsWork with other functional teams to ensure various components work together to meet the operational goals of the solution keeping in mind, the integration, quality, and performance of the deliverablesParticipate in project and design reviews and ensure that these meet Client design principles and standardsAssist in driving, prioritizing, and managing scope changes, along with defect managementAssist with defining testing strategy within the OT/VIM area to ensure the functionality and accuracy and quality of the productAssist with communication with users and developers; functional unit tests; user acceptance tests; cutover tasks, and ongoing supportQualificationsBachelor’s degree in related technology field of studyMust have 7+ years of prior hands-on experience as an SAP functional consultant including configuration and supportMinimum 2-3 years of SAP S4 implementation experience in SAP OpenText vendor Invoice management, including 2+ implementations with various components of OpenText VIMExperience working in an SAP Fiori environment, including OT VIM native Fiori applicationsProven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEffective organization, planning, analytical skills and follow throughStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills, with an ability to communicate with a wide of variety of diverse resources with varying degrees of technological expertiseService oriented, collaborative approach to internal customer and peer relationshipsStrong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools as applied to IT initiativesProficiency in Microsoft Office Software, Smartsheet, SAP support portal and basic computer knowledge as well as basic troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in hand with other team members on project design and deliverablesAbility to see the big picture for Client in the design and assessment processAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlinesTeam player and self-starter
