Factory Manager - Steel Manufacturing

Location: Rocky Mount, NC We are seeking ahands-on Production Managerto lead our steel manufacturing operations for lawn and ground care equipment.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety. Manage, train, and support production teams. Operate and supervise use of manufacturing equipment includinglaser cutters, press brakes, saw cutters, and other machinery common to steel fabrication. Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring accurate production. Work with engineering teams to review and, when needed, contribute to technical drawings. Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.

Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related) preferred. Proven experience in steel manufacturing environments. Strong blueprint reading/drawing skillswith attention to technical accuracy. Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
