Remote Labor and Employment Counsel

Responsibilities: Defend employers in a broad range of EPLI matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and leave-related claims. Manage cases from inception through resolution, including strategy development, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Handle administrative charges before the EEOC and state agencies. Maintain regular communication with clients, carriers, and key stakeholders regarding case strategy and developments. Provide practical risk management and employment law guidance to clients as needed.

Qualifications: 8+ years of employment litigation experience. Strong background handling EPLI matters and defending employers in employment-related disputes. Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload in a remote environment. Active bar license in the state of residence and in good standing. Interest in utilizing emerging legal technologies and AI tools to enhance efficiency and client service.
