We are looking for a Mechanical Technician I to join our Gas Transmission and Midstream team. In this hands-on field role, you will develop and apply your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical compressor station equipment that supports the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of natural gas. What You Will Do:
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressor station equipment, including air systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, air dryer systems, and gas compression equipment. Support the safe and reliable operation of facilities by identifying and responding to abnormal equipment conditions. Complete preventative and corrective maintenance activities to help ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and operational reports. Follow Company policies, operating procedures, and O&M manuals while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. Collaborate with coworkers, contractors, and other stakeholders to complete maintenance activities and support operational goals. Assist with additional operational tasks, including equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, and other field activities as required by business needs.
