We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Fixed Income eTrading for one of our clients, a leading investment bank based in New York.
About the Role: Join a greenfield, highly sponsored program to build a brand-new Fixed Income electronic trading system replacing an existing vendor platform, as part of a 3-year strategy. Working closely with the fixed income trading business, you'll be the bridge between traders, business sponsors and the development team, making sure what gets built truly meets business needs, both functionally and from a technical workflow perspective.
What You'll Do:
  • Elicit requirements with business sponsors to deliver the project milestones
  • Document requirements in Jira and structure them into epics, user stories and tasks
  • Break larger stories into smaller ones with stakeholders for sprint management
  • Explain requirements to developers and work closely with them to deliver features
  • Perform UAT testing of newly developed features
  • Collaborate with partner technology teams
  • Potentially line-manage developers, DevOps and QA, and help with hiring and onboarding
  • What You BringExpert-level product knowledge of rates or credit products (ideally both)
  • Detailed knowledge of rates pricing, valuations and metrics
  • Deep knowledge of Fixed Income electronic trading
  • Proven experience as a hands-on senior BA within a front-office development team at an investment bank
  • Strong grasp of agile and how to structure requirements
