ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Clean weld burns, deburr acid etc. May need to operate small tools and use fixtures to accomplish tasks. Set up and prepare equipment for grinding, such as belts for O.D. and I.D. grinder, make up grinding wheels and belts for grinder, etc. Must be able to perform more minimal, non-cosmetic grinding/polishing. Must meet quality standards Must meet assigned labor routing times Must have prompt and regular attendance.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Additional duties as assigned by your supervisor. Must have good hand-eye coordination. Must be able to operate grinding equipment. Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures. Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately. Keep work area clean, neat and orderly Ability to work with others as a team to complete processesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma or GED is requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Seeing: Regularly (67–100% of the time)Hearing: Regularly (67–100% of the time)Standing/Walking: Frequently (34–66% of the time)Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Frequently (34–66% of the time)Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Regularly (67–100% of the time)Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Regularly (67–100% of the time)Training pay for 90 days is $15.75 per hour. After training the pay is $17.00 per hour. WORKING CONDITION: General plant environment
