Project Executive

Location: Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GAI am currently working for one of the top General Contractors seeking a senior Project Executive to lead and grow its Life Sciences portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced construction executive with a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, life sciences, cleanrooms, cGMP environments and complex technical facilities.

The Opportunity: The Project Executive will provide executive leadership across project acquisition, client relationships, contract negotiations, pre-construction, operations, financial performance and team development. You will have significant autonomy and will be responsible for building high-performing project teams while developing relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory and research clients. Key areas of responsibility include:• Executive leadership of large-scale Life Sciences projects and teams• Business development, project acquisition and executive-level client relationships• Contract negotiations and commercial strategy• Full P&L, forecasting and financial accountability• Pre-construction, procurement and project start-up• MEP/HVAC, commissioning and validated-environment strategy• cGMP, cleanroom and quality compliance• Development and recruitment of high-performing project teams• Lean construction, Last Planner and prefabrication strategies• Long-term client development across the Life Sciences sector What We're Looking For• 15+ years of construction experience• 10+ years in senior construction/project leadership• Proven experience delivering $100M+ Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory or advanced manufacturing projects• Strong understanding of cGMP, cleanroom environments and CQV/validation processes• Experience with complex MEP and technically intensive facilities• Strong commercial and contract negotiation experience• Demonstrated P&L and financial management responsibility• Experience working directly with owners, pharmaceutical clients and other senior stakeholders• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
