Head of Government Affairs & Public Policy

The New York Times is seeking an experienced leader to direct its government relations and public policy strategy. This role heads engagement with U.S. policymakers and regulators and coordinates with senior leadership on policy matters across global markets. Based in New York or Washington, D.C., the position is hybrid with some travel expectations. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and the Chief Communications and Brand Officer, guiding external lobbying firms and cross-functional
