Corporate Safety Manager

Job Duties: Corporate Safety Manager will develop policies and procedures for the safety programs in our plants. Supervising the implementation of safety control procedures. Conducting audits to ensure that the plants meet Schuetz and legal compliance. Ensuring procedures are properly understood and carried out Investigating accidents and solving problems related to safety at the plants. Preparing reports, records, and other required documents and paperwork. Promoting safety achievement and performance improvement throughout the plants. Setting safety compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved. Constantly monitoring and advising on safety performance of the plants and staff. Participating in and preparing for internal and external audits. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of OSHA requirements and ensuring compliance in the plant. Creating, planning, preparing, and conducting informal on-the-job training as well as classroom trainings with employees for safety issues. Finding best practices and helping implement them in the plants. Reviewing safety performance with the parent company Schuetz Selters, Germany.other duties as assigned.
