Mail Inserting Operator

Key Responsibilities: We start the day turning on and calibrating equipment. Our day-to-day workload on the inserting machines is similar from one to the next. We then check in with the rest of the team to see if there are any priorities for the day and then get to work. The job of inserting requires loading of printed materials into a machine that will fold documents, insert them into an envelope. Seal the envelope and then it is the operator's responsibility to load the sealed documents into a mail tray, apply a protective sleeve, and stack the loaded trays neatly on a skid. Each job sealed is then marked as 'done' within our system. At days end, the completed skids are shrink wrapped and prepared for our morning pick up, the following day. Key Requirements and

Technology Experience: Skills -We are concerned with quality over quantity Able to take direction Punctuality and reliability 1 years' experience working in a mail production facility operating a mechanical inserter. Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred. A background in digital print, mailing, and distribution is highly desired. A background in a manufacturing environment can translate well.
